Call Forwarding Bundle

With Call Forwarding, you can always be reached. Never miss a call when you're away from home or the office. It allows you to forward all your incoming calls to any local telephone number from your fixed line. This bundle also gives you the flexibility to forward all calls or forward the call only when your line is busy or when no one answers a call.

HKT Fixed Line Services are provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.

Call Forwarding allows you to forward incoming calls to any other local telephone number in Hong Kong. The call transfer is done automatically and seamlessly.

To forward all calls
  • Press [*][0][5]
  • Key in the telephone number to which calls are to be forwarded
  • Press [#]
  • When the call is answered, inform the answering party that calls will be forwarded to him/her.
  • If no one answers or the line is busy, please hang up and repeat the above procedure. You will hear a confirmation tone to denote successful registration.
When you lift the handset again, you will hear a special dial tone. Every time there is an incoming call, a reminder ring (one short ring) will be sent to your telephone to remind you that Call Forwarding is registered. Outgoing calls can still be made as usual.
Note: If you have registered and activated Do-Not-Disturb, calls cannot be forwarded.
To clear Call Forwarding
  • Press [#][0][5]
To call forward your line to another telephone number, you need to clear Call Forwarding before registering the new number.
To forward calls when your line is busy
  • Press [*][2][5]
  • Key in the telephone number to which calls are to be forwarded
  • When the call is answered, inform the answering party that calls will be forwarded to him/her
  • If no one answers or the line is busy, hang up and repeat the above procedure. You will hear a confirmation tone to denote successful registration.
To clear Call Forwarding - Busy Line
  • Press [#][2][5]
To forward calls when no one answers
  • Press [*][3][5]
  • Key in the telephone number to which calls are to be forwarded
  • When the call is answered, inform the answering party that calls will be forwarded to him/her
  • If no one answers or the line is busy, hang up and repeat the above procedure. You will hear a confirmation tone to denote successful registration.
To clear Call Forwarding - No Answer
  • Press [#][3][5]
